**theme

power corrupts (berserk) - maybe girl got too ambitious with what their "love" started to achieve, they prob were like a power couple or something.

love corrupts - guy blinded by love and is stripped of everything that made him a chill guy for some reason, by the time he snaps out of this "love spell", he has nothing left

forked paths - guy and girl (lovers) were in agreement with everything for a while, but when their paths started to go separate ways, they couldnt figure out what to do?

girl is not the bad guy - neither girl nor guy was ultimately the bad guy in this story but they kinda allowed for a bad guy to exist (somehow)

guy #2 (jarred if he had the infinity gauntlet) - girl got coerced (method.) into giving up the powerful whatevers she built with her guy and this guy #2 used it to achieve what he wanted in life

guy #2 - probably has a tragic backstory, extreme desperation caused him to cause harm to others, but that violence came from trauma too, (probably like a vicious cycle)

imperfect progress is better than perfect stillness - guy #1 probably has nearly given up at this point, maybe to the point of putting himself in some kinda metaphorical (or literal) prison.

idk how this guy ends up fighting guy #2 (jarred), i gotta whip something out my ass for this

main char personality - avoidant, indecisive, determined

core idea

truth that i want to test with my story : there is always hope and meaning to be found through suffering

core question : is it possible to choose kindness in a world that has only taught you suffering? (this should come not from trauma responses from our character but something more mature)

smaller ideas

vicious cycle - generation after generation trauma is passed down

gojo/yujiro archetype - lonely at the top

flood gate open - the characters find out there are greater heights to scale and then are suddenly able to do so
